OZ DISK PTY LTD was formed by Matthew Smith after many successful years of being a Sole Trader.
OZ DISK started trading way back in October 1997 prior to that Matthew traded under his own name & also worked with computer stores.
Matthew Smith has worked for many clients including Government, Defence, Education, Medical, Hospitality, Corporates and Domestic.
Matthew began his computer career and training with the birth of Bulletin Board Systems in NSW Australia many years ago.
With several dialup modems and a computer system setup to answer peoples calls. Matthew then started a computer club which soon grew to well over 50 members, this is when he started buying and selling computer parts to local customers. Providing technical support is where Matthew excelled, local clients would ring up and ask for him to come out and fix
there computers. From Dialup to Dot Matrix, Floppy Drives to Printers this is where it all started.
After a move to Victoria, Matthew started working with more clients as a part time career. Several different industry jobs were had in order to create the business. Working with public schools and computer stores in Bendigo, Matthew heard that the Dept of Education Victoria was about to contract out all the technician positions with in schools. For many years Matthew provided services under the Technical Specialist Support Program. Oz Disk became a preffered government supplier of Technical Support.
Matthew has worked in Corporate and Education sectors for the past 18+ years. Matthew has a wide knowledge of various computer systems.
